The Pork Industry’s Tactics
Matthew Prescott, director of food policy for The Humane Society of the United States, writes about the blatant actions by the pork industry that result in consumers being deceived and remaining in the dark as far as this business goes. He mentions ag-gag laws, the blocking of food labeling, the ignoring of mandates, etc.

The pork industry is one of the cruelest, most deceiving industries in the world. What they do to pigs is really unspeakable and unimaginable. Sadly, many people still support this industry allowing them to continue lying to people, destroying the environment and torturing God’s animals. Nothing is going to change unless consumers choose compassion over taste and convenience.
