The Porcine Epidemic Diarrhea Virus (PEDv) has claimed the lives of 5 million pigs in the US already since last May. The pork industry is having a hard time controlling the spread of the disease and has already suffered a decrease in the demand of pork. Moreover, the disposal of dead pigs is serious issue that is already causing alarm among public officials and environmentalists.

Nothing good comes from confining, abusing and killing God’s creatures. The emergence of new viruses and bacteria is just one negative aspect of the animal agriculture industry.
By not supporting this industry we are taking a strong stance against abuse, disease and environmental degradation.
