We Betray God’s Animals
Gary Smith, writer of the blog “The Thinking Vegan”, explains why raising animals for food is clearly a betrayal to them. These animals never expect to be taken away from their mothers, beaten, enslaved, mutilated and ultimately killed violently.

Indeed, when we cause unnecessary suffering to God’s animals we are betraying them. They have done nothing to us to deserve such abusive treatment and they don’t understand why we are causing them so much pain and death. Since God entrusted His/Her animals to us, being tyrants over them is also a betrayal to God.
