May 2014 be a year of more peace, more joy, more love, more healing and more reconciliation. May our choices be aligned with our values and beliefs, and may we witness the faith of Christ (mercy, love and justice) in our daily lives.
2013: The Year Ag-Gag Bills Failed Miserably2013 has been the year in which animal advocates exposed the unimaginable abuse to God’s animals in factory farms and slaughterhouses throughout the world, thanks to the bravery and compassion of undercover investigators who documented the torture and killing of these animals. However, the meat, egg and dairy industries in the U.S. tried to fight back by introducing 15 new Ag-gag bills with the intent to criminalize the documentation (photos and videos) in factory farms and slaughterhouses. Thankfully, all of these bills where defeated, unlike some of the ones in previous years.
