Argentineans Eating Less Meat

Argentina, historically known for its booming beef industry, is now showing a marked decline in meat consumption due to the awareness about health, animal welfare and environmental issues. In 1958 beef consumption per capita was almost 100 kilograms per year, but now the number has fallen to 60 kilograms per year.

The world is changing and more people are waking up to the fact that eating God’s animals or their by-products is not only unnecessary but cruel, unhealthy and unsustainable.
