The No-Rules Industry
The chicken industry is one that virtually has no rules and gets impressive Federal handouts. They hyper-confine chickens in filthy places, mutilate them without anesthesia, feed them very unnatural feeds that actually make chicken even more unhealthy, produce much waste that of course they don’t clean up, treat workers unjustly and on top of things now they’ve had the government agree to buy 138.7 million pounds of unwanted chicken products, given that demand for chicken is lower than the supply.
