Red Meat Consumption May be Linked to Type 2 Diabetes

According to a new study published in June in JAMA Internal Medicine eating red meat over time is associated with a higher chance of developing type 2 diabetes, which in the most common type of diabetes. "Our results confirm the robustness of the association between red meat and T2DM (Type 2 Diabetes) and add further evidence that limiting red meat consumption over time confers benefits for T2DM prevention," wrote the authors, who were led by Dr. An Pan, a researcher at the National University of Singapore.

We are what we eat! Many chronic diseases, such as type 2 diabetes, may be prevented or reversed by showing compassion to God's animals, and therefore, not eating them. Compassion and mercy are certainly healing.
