Gov. Haslam in TN vetoed the “Ag-gag” bill yesterday! He says he
based his decision on the fact that it might be unconstitutional.
Gov. Haslam had been receiving much pressure from animal advocates
and from consumers alike, who want more transparency in the way the
animal agriculture industry operates.

Slowly but surely “Ag-gag” bills, the animal agriculture
industry’s latest tactic to prevent the public from learning the
unspeakable abuse that God’s animals suffer, are being rejected by
compassionate people. The only way to assure these animals are no
longer victimized is to stop consuming animal products. As long as
God’s animals are raised for food, they will continue to be
victimized.
