The largest paper in Wyoming speaks up against Ag-Gag bills. The
latest undercover video at Wyoming Premium Farms in Wheatland,
showing employees striking mother pigs with their fists and kicking
them, swinging sick piglets in circles by their hind legs and
kicking live piglets, has made evident the fact that factory farms
have much to hide. However, instead of protecting the animals
victimized by the industry, Rep. Sue Wallis, a Republican rancher
from Recluse, sponsored House Bill 126 that if passed, would
actually punish the ones who shot the video of farm workers'
criminal acts.

Kudos for this newspaper for expressing what an atrocity it would
be if House Bill 126 passes! God's animals are at our mercy. Let's
follow Christ's teachings of compassion, love and mercy and get them
out of factory farms. We could achieve this goal by adopting a
plant-based diet.
