USDA to the Rescue of Big Ag
Agriculture Secretary Tom Vilsack announced that the USDA will purchase up to $170 million of pork, lamb, chicken, and catfish for federal food nutrition assistance programs in order to help farmers and ranchers, who are being impacted by the nation's drought.

It’s not surprising that the industry that probably causes the most devastation in God’s Creation is the one that is being subsidized by the government. Sadly, power, greed and profit seem to trump ethics in this arena. The animal agriculture industry is simply put, unsustainable. Every time the government comes to the rescue of this industry, it’s telling us that it doesn’t care about God’s creation or any of its creatures. This is why it’s so important that consumers take a stand against this industry and choose compassion, health, restoration, justice, joy and peace by adopting a plant-based diet.Your question and comments are welcome
