Slavery in Chocolate
While there is no doubt that any chocolate containing cow’s milk (or any other animal’s milk) involves the slavery and death of these animals, as well as the slavery and death of their babies, some people might not be aware that even some vegan chocolates still contain slavery. Many brands of chocolate still use cacao produced with child labor or child slavery in West African countries.
Food Is Power has much valuable information about this issue and even they offer a list of recommended vegan chocolates that do not involve animal or human slavery. As stewards of God’s Creation we should care deeply about all sentient beings. Please share with friends and family!Food is Power:
