Although the abuse of God's farmed animals is the norm and not the
exception, it is good news that the perpetrators of unimaginable
cruelty to the turkeys at the Butterball farm in question are being
criminally charged. The exposure of the systematic, legal
victimization of these animals is crucial in order to make their
plight heard.
I think it’s important to point out that
workers in factory farms are also greatly abused and suffer from the
consequences of the fear, pain and death they inflict on animals. If
people didn’t support the animal agriculture industry, there would be
no need for any being to suffer for the sake of taste and profit.
