McDonald’s is Moving to End Gestation Crates
McDonald’s and the Humane Society of the United States (HSUS) issued yesterday a joint release announcing that the country’s largest restaurant chain is moving to end gestation crate confinement in its U.S. supply chain. Wayne Pacelle, CEO of HSUS, explains in his blog why this is very important news for the animal advocacy movement and what it means to the pork industry.
