A vegan diet is not only healthy but might be optimal for athletes, as this article on vegan bodybuilding featured in The New York Times. Veganism is becoming more well-known thanks to athletes such as Robert Cheeke and Kenneth Williams who once and for all set the record straight: a plant-based diet has everything a body needs, even for a bodybuilder.

This is a great example about a plant-based diet providing all the nutrients in order to optimize health and fitness. A compassionate, ethical, well-balanced diet is certainly the most conducive to healing and restoration in God’s Creation.
