“Mercy For Animals” Exposes Victimization of Calves

Thanks to the work of undercover investigators from Mercy For Animals, who continue to expose the inherent and atrocious cruelties of animal agriculture, a new undercover video showing egregious cruelty to calves exposes the victimization of these animals every day in our country. The 3-minute video shows, among many other acts of cruelty, workers bludgeoning calves in their skulls with pickaxes and hammers – often involving 5 to 6 blows, sometimes more – before rendering the animals unconscious.

Watching these baby animals being victimized was excruciating! However, it was a necessary reminder that we, advocates of God's animals, should do everything in our ability to stop these abuses that mock God's love for animals. It's imperative that Christians recognize that adopting a plant-based diet accords with Jesus' teachings; and that a diet that includes meat, dairy or eggs inevitably harms all of God's Creation.
