compelling reasons to adopt a plant-based diet. She believes that making
a case for veganism on solely health reasons is not enough for most
people and might actually lead to pitfalls or to a short-lived change in
diet. Moreover, Kisch Messina suggests avoiding the word "strict" when
referring to a plant-based diet. Making an ethical case for veganism
seems to be the most effective way to encourage people to adopt a
plant-based diet.
