Gentle Thanksgiving Options

Thanks to a higher demand for Thanksgiving plant-based dishes many companies are offering a variety of options that are likely to please vegetarians and meat-eaters alike. Turtle Island Foods, the maker of alternative Tofurkey, has partnered with frozen-food brand Amy’s Kitchen to launch a new “vegetarian feast” this year: an all-vegan meal including the Tofurkey loaf, rice and bread crumb stuffing, faux “giblet” gravy, a wishstix (vegan version of a wishbone made out of tofu jerky) and Amy’s vegan organic chocolate cake for dessert. It feeds six people and sells for $19.99.
