What Will Future Generations Think of Factory Farming?
Kwame Anthony Appiah, a philosophy professor at Princeton University
and author of "The Honor Code: How Moral Revolutions Happen", reminds us
of the many actions in the past that were condoned by humans that later
became to be rejected and even repudiated by subsequent generations
(slavery, for example). In this same way, Appiah thinks that many of
today's actions will be questioned and condemned by future generations
including our animal agriculture system where animals are abused on a
routine bases.

Certainly, looking back at history is a way to learn from experience.
However, it would prove wiser to think ahead and realize that future
generations will appalled at the treatment of farmed animals and the
consequences this brings for all of God's Creation.
