Nationwide Egg Recall
The eggs, linked to over 200 cases of salmonella poisoning in
several states, produced by Wright County Egg in Galt, Iowa,
prompted the initial recall of 380 million eggs (currently half a
million). Not surprisingly, Austin "Jack" DeCoster, owner of Quality
Egg of New England (QENE), who was the subject of a 2009 Mercy For
Animals (MFA) undercover cruelty investigation, is now connected to
the nationwide egg recall since Wright County Egg is one of
DeCoster's many agribusiness operations.

DeCoster's Battery-Cage Farms Linked to
Nationwide Salmonella Outbreak
Battery-cage hens are one of the most abused of God's farmed
animals. They live under intense confinement, suffer mutilations
without anesthesia, and do not get to exercise any of their
God-given instincts while laying eggs until they are consider spent
and then sent to slaughter. Supporting the egg industry has no part
in being good stewards of God's Creation. We are called to show
mercy and love onto all Creation and that includes God's animals.
