The Controversy about Feeding Chicken Feces to Cattle
A coalition of food and consumer groups that includes
Consumers Union and the Center for Science in the Public
Interest has asked the Food and Drug Administration to
ban the practice of feeding chicken feces and other poultry farm
waste to cattle since this practice may increase the risk of cows
becoming infected with bovine spongiform encephalopathy, or mad cow
disease. The reason is that spilled chicken feed and the feces
contain tissue from ruminants -- cows and sheep, among other mammals
-- and the disease is transmitted through feeding ruminant remains
to cattle.

Common current practices in the animal agriculture industry such
as the above go completely against nature. They are forcing animals
who are herbivores into cannibals. Mad cow disease is one of those
warnings that should make stop and ponder about what we are doing to
God's farmed animals.
