Plant-Based Diet Key to Long Life

New research indicates that a vegetarian diet low in protein might be the formula for a long life. Scientists in the UK believe that a diet low in meat and fish could lead to a slow ageing process due to its low content of the amino acid, methionine.

It’s well-documented that a well-balanced plant-based diet prevents many of the common chronic diseases such as cancer, diabetes and heart-disease. Moreover, a plant-based diet has been known to reverse some of these diseases as well, therefore increasing the quality and life-span of people who adopt this diet, which honors all of God’s Creation.
