Farmed animals raised in factory farms, live miserable lives in crowded and filthy environments where diseases arise easily. Therefore, in order to keep these poor creatures alive, the animal agriculture industry resorts to the massive and routine use of antibiotics without any consideration for human health or the health of these animals.
