Suffering of Factory Farmed Pigs Exposed on Twitter
Thanks largely to the efforts of Tracy Habenicht, who publicized
the event on her blog “Digging Through the Dirt” (http://diggingthroughthedirt.blogspot.com/),
Twitter was on fire with posts about the plight of factory farmed
pigs. Activists quickly made their presence in the conversation
known, with tweets that included links to videos and photos showing
how pigs live and die on factory farms.

Thanks to the media, the victimization of God’s animals in
factory farms can be exposed and more people might decide to choose
compassion and stop supporting the animal agriculture industry. One
way to reflect God’s love onto all Creation is to adopt a
plant-based diet, which is good for our health, animals and the
environment.
