Climate Change Bill Needs Support of Farmer and Ranchers
The climate change bill being drafted in the U.S. Senate needs the
support of farmers and ranchers that have the power to reduce greenhouse
gases by meaningful amounts. However, some large U.S. farm groups are
opposed to it as well as the National Pork Producers Council and the
National Cattlemen's Beef Association that will likely be affected by
the higher costs of gas and ethanol.

Global warming is taking a toll on God’s Creation. While animal
agriculture is responsible for about 2/3 of greenhouse emissions, it
seems that this industry is unwilling to work a solution because their
greed trumps ethics. Once again, consumer has the power to take a stand
and not support industries that bring misery to humans, animals and the
environment.
