affected since the declining pork prices may lead to losses of about
$270 million in income. According to the U.S. Department of Agriculture,
there seem to be no flu cases in the US pigs, which makes pork safe to

Although pork might be safe to it in the case of swine-flu, as
children of God we should take into account that these animals suffer
greatly in order to be processed into food. Also, factory farms are
known to be great venues for breeding super-bugs due to the number of
confined animals and the antibiotics given to then routinely. As
stewards of God's Creation we need to ask ourselves what is the best
diet that honors and glorifies God.
