Dutch Supermarkets Ban “Pale Veal”
Thanks to animal-rights group Wakker Dier in the Netherlands nearly
all the Dutch supermarkets have stopped selling "pale or anemic veal"
after the group's launching of a peaceful, company-targeted campaign
against this kind of veal. "Pale veal" is raised by keeping the calves
deliberately ill, fed on a low-iron milk diet and kept in small cages,
where they never see the light of the day. The Netherlands produce 1.5
million calves per year.

This is a great example of how compassionate people can make a
difference in the lives of God's animals and how companies can choose to
do the right thing. When we stand for the victim we are being true
disciples of Jesus Christ.
