European Pig Industry Abusive and Cruel
An investigation into the European pig industry by Compassion in World Farming (CIWF) in Germany, Hungary, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK has revealed “horrendous conditions” all throughout. A CIWF investigator reported, “It’s horrifying to imagine that most of the meat sold in the supermarkets, restaurants and that we see in daily life [coming from animals] is being kept in these conditions.”

Sadly, farmed animals raised for food throughout the world suffer unimaginable pain and fear. As Christians, we need to ask ourselves: would Jesus approve the horrors of factory farming? Does the way we treat God's animals follow Jesus teachings of compassion and mercy?.
