Farmed Animals Anti-Cruelty Act
The Farm Animals Anti-Cruelty Act was introduced in Congress on June 5th by Congressmen Christopher Shays (R-Ct) and Jim Moran (D-Va). H. R. 6202 seeks to make a federal offense the killing, mutilation, disfigurement, torture or intentional infliction of pain or suffering, “without justification,” on an animal held for commercial use.
