Animal-human Controversy
A recent article written by Christian columnist Chuck Colson has
caused debate among Christians and non-Christian alike. Some find him
right on track with his views regarding the value of animals, such as
animal agriculture advocate, Trent Loos, who said on his latest
e-newsletter on March 17,
" At times I have felt like the lone wolf
howling at the moon about the blurring of the line between humans and
animals. I'm not whining, but it is nice to have someone finally come
howl with me."
Chuck Colson raises doubts about pets having souls and emphasizes the
uniqueness of human beings, created in the image of God, as basis or
excuses for the existence of animal agriculture and animal
experimentation.
