“Pardoned” Turkeys Stand No Chance
Columnist Stu Bykofsky exposes the
reality behind turkey production and the famous "pardoning" of a
turkey by the US President every year for the Thanksgiving
Celebration. Bykofsky correctly points out that turkeys are bred so
big, in such a short time, that those "pardoned" die within a year
due to health problems. Domestic turkeys have such large breasts
that they cannot even mate naturally and therefore are artificially
inseminated.

"Pardoned" bird also is doomed
The way we raise God’s animals for
food is deplorable and shows no compassion whatsoever. We exploit
and manipulate their lives without considering God’s perfect plan
for them and the rest of Creation. Hopefully, more and more people
will realize how cruel and deceptive the meat and dairy industries
are, and choose a compassionate, God-honoring plant-based diet.
