What’s in Their Feed?
Due to the increase in corn prices,
farmers are adding very unusual products to their animals’ feed:
trail mix, cookies, licorice, cheese curls, candy bars, French
fries, frosted wheat cereal, peanut-butter cups and hash browns.
This diet fattens animals easily and quickly. The trend is so
widespread that some farmers, like Cevin Jones of Intermountain
Beef, who is struggling to feed his 12,000 cattle in light of higher
feed costs, is using 100% byproducts, including French fries, Tater
Tots and potato peels.

With corn prices rising, pigs switch to fatty snacks
Feeding God’s animals a diet, to
which they weren’t design to eat, goes against their nature; and
therefore God’s ideal plan. Fattening animals so they grow faster
than nature intended brings misery to them and to us, since what we
feed them ends up in our bodies and increases the rate of many
diseases.
