Tuna Stock Rapidly Declining
Tuna fishermen in the Indian Ocean have experienced this year their lowest tuna catch in the last 11 years. This significant reduction of 36% may be due to overfishing or even global warming, experts say. They are hoping to find out more in a year or two after more data is gathered.

As long as overfishing continues, many aquatic species are pushed to alarming low numbers, even to extinction. A plant-based diet not only helps reduce animal exploitation, but also helps us restore the environment and take care of our bodies.
