Good News for “Veal” Calves
The American Veal Association (AVA) voted unanimously to convert the industry to group housing by 2017 and therefore phase out veal crates. They refer to reasons such as: consumers concern, group housing legislatively imposed in the European Union, and group housing will promote industry stability and growth.

It is good news for God’s Creation that veal crates are going to disappear in the US by 2017. Animal advocates would like this transition to occur faster or even better that calves would never be destined to become veal. It’s is up to us, consumers, to support industries that are compassionate toward God’s animals.
