Eating Lower in the Food Ladder

Sustainable artist Shawn Dell Joyce explains the reason why it would be more environmentally friendly if humans tried to consume products from the bottom of the food ladder, that is, more grains, legumes, nuts and fruits rather than animal products. She provides the reader with evidence supporting the inefficient conversion of grains into meat when raising animals for food.
