judge’s order.

Ban on Horse Slaughter Upheld
While the slaughter of horses for
human consumption seems to be reaching a definite end in the US,

farms and slaughter houses every year. The transition to a
plant-based diet would help extend Christ’s compassion, love and
justice to God’s animals killed for their flesh.

Cavel Horse Slaughter Plant:
A sustaining member informed us
that the Federal Appeals Court judge allowed Cavel to reopen while
its appeal is pending. Apparently the Belgium company that owns the
plant is making use of every legal resort possible. A Federal ban on
horse slaughter and the bill still waiting to be voted on in
Washington are much needed.
