New Case of Birdflu in Ostrich
Kuwait officials announced on
Sunday that an ostrich was found to have the H5N1 strain of birdflu.
Kuwait has culled around 1.7 million birds, banned import of live
birds, and closed down the country's zoo as well as poultry shops in
order to minimize the spread of the virus.
