The pain and suffering laying hens
suffer during their lives, and at the end of them, is unacceptable.
There is no justification for the exploitation of animals in the
name of profit and pleasure. Although the transition to consume
free-cage eggs would alleviate some of the hen’s suffering, a
plant-based diet would certainly be more effective.
