1. Report from the United Church of Christ
General Synod
I tabled at the UCC General Synod in Cleveland this past weekend. It was
very worthwhile, and I had many good discussions with pastors and lay
members. I often emphasized the connection between human liberation and
animal liberation. I also focused on the importance of mindfulness, which is
necessary if our actions are to accord with our faith.
