Purdue Supplier Farm Worker Arrested
A chicken farm located in Rockingham, N.C. that supplies poultry to Perdue Farms Inc. is on the spotlight for animal cruelty. A recent video shot by an undercover investigator of the animal advocacy group Mercy for Animals shows a poultry worker stomping chickens, breaking their necks and throwing them against a wall. The worker has been charged with animal cruelty.

What this worker did to the chickens is not unusual, but sadly all too common in farms throughout the nation. When animals are seen as commodities, they are also treated as commodities.
