Bird Flu Causes Egg Shortages

Egg shortages seem to be inevitable due to the devastation avian flu is causing to this industry. It’s no surprise to learn that Hampton Creek, a business that produces plant-based egg substitutes, has been contacted by major food producers that realize egg-substitutes might keep their businesses running.

The animal-based agriculture industry will come to an end due to public awareness, environmental devastation, rise of new viruses and bacteria, etc. Why wait till we have no choice? Let's instead transition to a plant-based diet now, which will lead to a healthier, more just, more peaceful, more compassionate and more sustainable world.
