Factory Farming is a Major Polluter of Water

It should be of no surprise that North Carolina’s rivers and streams are loaded with pig excrement from local factory farms. North Carolina is the second-biggest hog producer in the U.S. after Iowa; and of course, since the pork industry holds major political capital in the state, it chooses to dismiss this big pollution problem.

Earth, our home, is in trouble.

And the animal-based agriculture industry contributes to the major environmental problems, including pollution. Maybe, the realization that future generations rely on all of us moving away from an animal-based diet will encourage everyone to show compassion to God’s animals and not eat them.
