Good news! Nestlé, the world's largest food company, has announced its commitment to improve animal welfare by eliminating many of the barbaric standard practices done to animals by its suppliers, including tail docking and dehorning of dairy cattle, castration of piglets without painkillers, and the use of growth promoters for poultry. Nestlé is also committed to ending the intensive confinement of baby calves in veal crates, pregnant pigs in gestation crates, and egg-laying hens in battery cages.
The world is changing. The exposure of the victimization of God’s animals is reaching people’s hearts and the pocket of businesses. Thankfully, people who run these mega-corporations based on the exploitation of these animals can no longer keep consumers in the dark. So let’s keep voting for peace, compassion and justice by choosing plant-based foods.
