Plant-Based to Reverse Diabetes

Diabetes is a common theme in modern society due to the poor diet most people consume, which is laden with processed sugars and animal products. Fortunately, the solution to diabetes seems to be a simple one: adopting a plant-based diet.

Researchers presenting at the International Conference on Diabetes found that a low-fat, plant-based diet was the most effective at reducing, and in some cases reversing, type II diabetes in Navajo populations.
