PEDv Causing Havoc
More than 100,000 piglets and young hogs have died every week in the US since May 2013, when PEDv (porcine epidemic diarrhea), a deadly virus, made its appearance in Iowa. Aside from the devastating consequences for this industry, environmentalist are concerned with the massive amount of dead bodies of pigs that are piling up and maybe not disposed in a safe manner.

What can we expect when we exploit God’s pigs in unimaginably cruel ways? This virus and the negative consequences are just one one tentacle of this story, given that the animal agriculture industry affects all of God’s creation at every level.
