It seems agribusiness is struggling to get their message across, that is, to continue deceiving consumers so they continue to buy their products. New polling has found that their tactics might be becoming more ineffective and that people are not just paying attention to them but to organizations exposing their practices. In fact, the pollster’s recommendations to the industry specifically “... advised not going into a lot of detail about current practices when talking to consumers as it may generate more concern than necessary.”
Hopefully more people are indeed listening to ethical and compassionate sources and not agribusiness, which has been known to be deceitful and unethical. It is time for Christians to carry out Jesus’ teachings of compassion, mercy and love onto all Creation, which of course includes God’s farmed animals.
