A Tragedy Unseen by Most
An egg farm in La Grange, Wisconsin was consumed by fire Friday night
killing nearly 300,000 birds. Such an horrific event was covered by the news
as expected but disturbingly reporters stated that there were no reports of
any injuries.
How low have we fallen when 300,000 sentient beings don’t count as victims?
What happened in this egg farm is a real tragedy, but I think even worse is
the fact that humans continue to exploit God’s animals mercilessly
considering these creatures simple commodities.
