Aviagen Turkey Abuse
December 2008
Aviagen has announced that several employees, including a supervisor,
have been fired after People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals (PETA)
released a video in November showing workers punching, kicking and beating
live turkeys. PETA is urging authorities to prosecute the accused.

There is no excuse for the abuse that God's farmed animals suffer in our
hands. The food industry treats these animals as mere commodities with no
regard to their needs. Hopefully, more people will become aware of this
widespread exploitation and choose to transition to a plant-based diet that
honors all of God's Creation.
