Sometimes we hear something so often repeated that we start believing it. This is the case of cow’s milk and calcium. We have been told since birth that cow’s milk, rich in calcium, is ideal for our bodies. Fortunately, science can explain clearly now why calcium in plant-based foods is more efficiently absorbed by our bodies than the calcium in cow’s milk, and why cow’s milk is simply not good for our health.
