Slaughterhouse Workers Suffer Much

Many studies indicate how devastating it is to work at a slaughterhouse because aside from the physical dangers associated with killing animals, the psychological burden these workers endure is really terrible. New evidence shows that these workers suffer from PTSD, post-traumatic stress disorder, which not surprisingly very often lead to domestic violence, social withdrawal, drug and alcohol abuse, and severe anxiety.

Aside from the unimaginable suffering God’s animals endure, shouldn’t we be concerned about the physical and emotional pain of our brothers and sisters who work at slaughterhouses and factory farms so people can enjoy the taste of animal products?
