As it turns out the USDA allows much
more in red meat and poultry than most people would ever imagine.
It's not just the antibiotics and hormones, which are enough to
worry about, but also drug residues, heavy metals and cleaning
supplies, among many other substances. What's even worse, is that
the USDA plans to relax its regulations even more in regard to the
inspection of red meat and poultry allowing meat processors more
freedom policing themselves.

doubts about it. The food industry is a broken industry where the
consumer has to do some research and learn that the USDA cannot be
trusted in regards to food safety. We are always better off when we
align our innermost values and faith with our food choices. This
leads us to a path of compassion, healing and restoration that
involves leaving God's animals off of our plates.
